New attacks are being reported against a PDF vulnerability that we reported on last month<\/a>. Hackers are using Javascript which contains shell code that is a mere 38 bytes long, and contains other subtle ways of working<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Granted, this is a Windows attack, and won’t affect Macs, but it shows that hackers have been busy finding ways to take advantage of a vulnerability that was widely publicized. In addition, since Adobe won’t be patching the flaw until January 12<\/a>, hackers had some spare time to try it out.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
