This program helps Mac users protect their children when they use the Internet on both Mac OS X and Windows. ContentBarrier X5 Dual Protection features Intego’s award-winning parental control software together with Profil Technology’s Parental Filter 2, a top-rated Windows program, to provide Mac users with protection for both operating systems.

Since Mac users can run Windows on a Mac with today's Intel-based Macs, they are vulnerable to a whole new range of security threats. When Windows is run in Apple Boot Camp, Parallels Desktop or VMware Fusion, it requires Windows-specific protection. Intego's Dual Protection product line provides security for both Mac OS X and Windows, ensuring that Mac users running Windows will have total protection for both operating systems.

• For Mac OS X: ContentBarrier X5 shields children from offensive content, and prevents them from stumbling on the dark side of the Internet. It filters web pages, by URL and by category, and its Active Content Recognition provides advanced filtering algorithms to ensure maximal protection. It offers schedules and time limits, and can limit use to specific programs or block selected programs. It also offers advanced logs and monitoring features, so parents can check up on what their children see on the Internet.
